Buses, Boats and Trains

Having my family in town was a total whirlwind adventure.

We had a lot of Norway to see and just one week to do it!

At 6 a.m. the morning after their flight arrived in Norway, we packed everyone into our station wagon and hightailed it up to Bergen to catch our first train into the Norwegian countryside on the Norway-In-A-Nutshell tour. No rest for the weary world travelers!
Jet lag is for squares!

Luckily Dad, Mom and Cam were all troopers and still managed to enjoy the beautiful scenery in between naps on the trains :)
Look at my bro. Such the modern European railway traveler.
Whatever gets the job done, right?
The fam discovered the hard way that you have to pay 10 kroner to use the public restrooms (there are some things you just forget to warn people about). After one-too-many panicked moments of desperation in which nary a coin was to be found, Dad always made sure to have his 10nok coin with him at all times in case of “emergencies”. We could be completely lost, but all was well if we had that lucky coin!
The men in my life are such studs :)

Gosh it was sure fun having these guys in town!
Next stop: Aurland!
